Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today, we’re going to talk about how to apply for scholarships for international students. And unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of scholarships…traditional scholarships available to international students because they are geared more towards citizens of the United States. But what your first thing you can do is speak to the financial aid officer of the college or university that you plan on attending. They may have some scholarships available to you that do not require you to be a U.S. citizen. Next, it’s to then talk to the international student offices from the school or college that you are planning on attending. They should be able to give you more information on possible national scholarships available, as well as different types of ways to fund your education. Next, you’re going to want to do just general searches on the Web to different organizations or non-profit organizations to see if they offer scholarships specifically for international students.
